Valentine's Day recipe

Grilled Salmon with Honey & Citrus Sauce.

A light, sophisticated recipe, perfect for pairing with delicate rosé wines and creating a special surprise for Valentine’s Day. 🌹

Ingredients (2 Portions):

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Fresh chives (optional)

Method:

  1. Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, mix the honey, orange juice, lemon juice, mustard, and minced garlic. Set aside;
  2. Season the salmon: Sprinkle the fillets with salt and pepper to taste;
  3. Grill the salmon: Heat a pan over medium-high heat with olive oil and grill the salmon for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden;
  4. Add the sauce: Reduce the heat, pour the sauce into the pan, and cook for another 2 minutes, basting the salmon until slightly caramelised;
  5. Serve: Plate the salmon, drizzle with the sauce, and garnish with fresh chives if desired.
